SOME VS ANY

Use "some" in positive sentences for both countable and uncountable nouns.

I have some friends. (Positive)

Use "any" in negative sentences or questions for both countable and uncountable nouns.

Do you have any cheese? - He doesn't have any friends in Chicago. (Negative)

Try These :

Q: Is there ____ who can help me?
anyone
someone

Q: My friends said _____ would be here today.
anyone
someone

Q: Have we got ___ milk in the fridge?
any
some
